Pre-procedure guidelines are important to follow to ensure you get the best results from your service.

PRE PROCEDURE ADVICE:

  • Do not use topical agents that may increase the sensitivity of your skin, such as retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics, or hydroxy acids 5-7 days before the procedure.

  • Avoid IPL/Laser procedures for at least 2 weeks before the procedure.

  • No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis to the area being treated for 5 days prior.

  • Avoid unprotected sun exposure or sunburn at least one week before the procedure.

  • Do not shave the face the day of the procedure to avoid skin irritation.

  • Keep makeup to a minimum on the day of the procedure, if possible, and do not experiment with new products beforehand.

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24-48 hours before the procedure.

PATCH TEST

During your consultation, we may decide to power up your treatment with our Pro Power Eye Peel to maximise your results. Therefore, we may take additional precautions and require a patch test. This must be completed at least 24 hours before our Pro Power Peel Eye Treatments to assess for an allergic response and your skin’s tolerance to highly active ingredients.

POST PROCEDURE ADVICE:

Aftercare is critical for achieving your healthiest-looking skin. So we want to make sure you know exactly what to do.

  • Try to avoid excessive sun exposure, such as tanning and sunbathing, for at least 10 days to avoid the risk of hyperpigmentation and sensitisation of the skin.

  • Do not apply makeup immediately after the procedure.

  • Continue to wear SPF 30+ daily.

  • Gently cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser and tepid water before bedtime on the day of the procedure.

  • Use serums and the recommended skin care products, per your skin therapists’ directions.

  • Avoid sweaty exercise, saunas, and swimming for at least 48 hours after the procedure.

  • Avoid immediately using active skin care (including AHA/BHAs, exfoliants, Vitamin A, Retinol) for at least 3-5 days

There is no downtime after this treatment; you may experience mild skin peeling depending on the professional serums used in your treatment.

  • NanoInfusion goes by various names such as microchanneling, nanoneedling or nano exfoliation.

    While NanoInfusion does not penetrate the skin, it can be utilised to achieve skin resurfacing and product infusion.

  • The cones within the NanoInfusion cartridge separate the cells within the very top layer of the epidermis, creating microchannels which allow for increased penetration of targeted treatment serums.

  • None, although depending on the professional serums used, you may experience light to mild skin peeling.

  • Yes, the treatment is fully customised, we may recommend to “power down” your resurfacing phase of your treatment opting for a milder exfoliation. We also use a specially formulated serum to sooth and calm the skin during the treatment and promote skin healing post treatment.

    We will assess your skins reactivity and barrier function during your consultation and skin analysis to ensure this is the right treatment for your skin.

  • Yes. When performed correctly by a trained professional, we can safely customise your Pro NanoInfusion for a wide range of skin tones. We will confirm your Fitzpatrick score at your consultation and skin analysis.

  • During your consultation we will provide you with pre and post procedure advice. If we are combining a Pro Power Eye Peel with your Pro NanoInfusion we will require a patch test a minimum of 24 hours prior to the treatment, this will be performed at your consultation.
